DYNAMIC offers wrapped carbon fiber tubes in thicknesses 10, 12, 15, 18, and 20, which are particularly valued in the kite indistry. The tubes are available in either tapered or cylindrical shapes. For tapered tubes, a "T" (for tapered) is added, resulting in designations like T10, T12, etc. The number indicates the approximate weight of the rod in grams for the standard length of 82.5 cm.

 

During manufacturing, pre-impregnated fiber fabric is wrapped around a mandrel, with the diameter and length of the mandrel determining the inner diameter and length of the tube. The outer diameter and stiffness are influenced by the number of layers and the orientation of the fabric. The wrapped material is fixed with cellophane tape and cured in an oven. After curing, the tube is removed from the mandrel, the tape is removed, and the tube is cut and possibly sanded. DYNAMIC strives to offer the highest quality products at fair prices.
