Simply ingenious or ingeniously simple describe the designs by Swiss kite designer Thomas K. Horvath who currently lives and works in Zurich. While working on his degree in architecture, he was involved in light, often collapsible structures and felt then that he may one day be involved in the development and design of kites. After he completed his degree, he worked with namable architects before opening his own studio for architecture and industrial design.

Thomas K. Horvath has now cut back his architecture duties to focus more intensively on developing synergetic kites that are inspired by the flying techniques and aerodynamics of birds. High tech kites without embellishments, without fluff - simply for pure enjoyment.

Special features of Horvath synergetic kites: Active, steerable, extremely light zero-wind kites with great snatch that allow for extreme gliding and floating.

The synergetic kites are the UL slow-flyers among the light-wind kites. Flying machines that glide across long expanses of sky and that can still be steered. They are produced with extreme precision using the best materials. An invention and development of the "swiss kite lab horvath.ch".
