Dear petermichael,

Thank you for your post. The problem you are experiencing with your kite has occurred before and we are working to make the cells even more durable in future designs. The cells between the layers of the foil have to withstand a certain pressure during flight. If this pressure is too much, (may it be caused due to a crash or another incident) the sewing inside the kite will fail. This is not due to bad quality or material failure, the pressure building up inside the kite is simply too high.

It is highly unlikely that the cells break in normal flight conditions. In order to review your case and to help you quickly I can offer you to send in your kite for our examination. If only a few cells have been ripped, a repair is almost always possible.

If you decide to do so, please send your kite, including all the accessories and a brief problem description to:

Invento GmbH
Klein Feldhus 1
26180 Rastede
Germany

Regards,

Michael

HQ Rush III 300-Ripped Cells

Postby petermichael » Wed 07 Apr 2010 03:44

I recently purchased a HQ Rush III 300 trainer kite and after using the kite once in 10-15 mph wind, I'm noticing the fabric that separates the cells inside the kite is starting to rip. Has anyone experienced this issue? It's a bit disappointing to have this happen at all, let alone the first time it came out of the bag.

Thanks.
