Hi Oliver!

Thanks I’m fine! Sorry to hear about your misfortune! Both, lower spreaders as well as both leading edge rods are DT15.

Great to hear that you are enjoying your product that much!

All the best!

Greetings,

Michael

Hi Michael

Hope you feel good.

I have a huge pleasure to fly my infinity, by my conseals 2 others peoples bought one... ;-)
One again and we could make a team... :)

I have a question, I just broke the left edge of the infinity with a spike too rude.

Does it Dynamics DT15 too ?

The edges show the name of Dynamics in Red, but I can not see if it is DT15 or DT18.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi Oliver!

That sounds great! Wish you a lot of fun! Would it be possible to see some pictures from your trip maybe? I'm sorry, we haven't got any stickers in stock at the moment and becasue of changes in stock / product management I cannot say when we are going to get some again. But keep asking...

Greetings,

Michael

Hello michael,
Just to say that I am going this week end in Normandy, near the Mont Saint Michel for an exhibition.
I will fly the Infintiy, maybe some will be interested.
Just by the way, I am still interested by the stickers or other spare part you could have in order to make some advertising.
Best regards.

Hi Michael

Thanks again for your precisions. I do understand the reason now, and I agree with this idea.

Hey!

No problem! I see what you mean. Basically, the upper spreader is in fact hollow. What you see on the ends of the rod is a “plug” made from fibres which is about 20mm in length. The spreader itself has no filling.

The plug is there to give the rod extra stability during flight. Without the plug, the rod would be likely to fail at these points due to the tensile strength acting on it.

Hope this answers your question well!

Greetings,

Ok thanks a lot Michael.

Let's go for another question ;-)

Why does the top cross is "filled", and by which material ?

I should do understand that the top cross is filled to be more solid (but it is just a top cross, pressions are more important on the low spreads).

But all pilots who tried the kite here in France were stonish by the filled top cross.

Some pilots told me that the top cross could be shorten for 1 cm to fold a little more the noze of the kite. So what I would like to do is to make a new one shorter in dynamic to try. But mine will not be filled or closed to earn some weight.

Hello Olivier!

Interesting question! Really, there is no exact calculation method to this; it’s all based on the experience of the designer to decide where the holes are being placed. Our designers take great care to ensure that the kite works to its maximum performance.

Thanks a lot Michael.

I knew how the vented was done, I was meaning how did you plan to put the holes at the place they are ?
Is it exactly calculated to have the number of hole in it or was it because after trying the vented was good as this ?
Some others vented does not have holes as the Infinity but parts of the sails are with a little grid to let pass the air.
I was wondering, why HQ made some holes and not use a little grid.
For the sticker I am interested, thanks a lot ;)

I see... :)

I’m sorry I cannot supply you with stickers at this moment. Hopefully there will be some stickers soon which I can send to you!

The Infinity Vented is called that way because of the holes in its sail. These are letting the air pass through the sail at high winds to give it extra stability. This of course has an effect on the flying abilities.

As I am not a reseller, I think I could not have stock unfortunately. I wish I would.

Anyway I was asking myself the passed day, where I should find some sticker either some brochure regarding HQ kite, maybe especially the infinity, like this I could put some in my kite bag and give to the peoples interested by it.

What about the vented kite ? how is it vented ? as we got some "strong" wind in Penvins, I think a vented would be more accurate than the standard one.

Hello All

I ve passed 3 days of dream in Penvins (France).
There were more than 150 kite pilots and I have let my Infinity to some.
They were all interested by the flight of the infinity. Most of them have other kite (far more expensive, and of competition) but they were all bluffed by the flight and the accuracy of the infinity.
So sad that I have not a stock, I am sure I could send at least 5 or 6 the same day... :D
I have posted a topic once on a French forum about the infinity, for the one who may be interested, here's the link :
http://www.bilboquet-kites.com/forums/s ... =167787969
and the second link for the second forum is :
http://forumcerfvolantservice.aceboard. ... Y-dela.htm

I saw my infinity passing by axel, half axel, comete, fade, 540, jacob's ladder, flic flac, etc etc....

However, if you read the post of the test, most of the pilot said that the top cross is a bit too long and should be cut for about a centimeter, and again some would prefer a skyshark 5pt for the lower cross.

Does someone tested the vented ?
See u
