1. Does this setup improves steering with the main and brakelines? Cause it seems to me that, using this setup, a pull to the left or right means that the pulleys attached to the bar makes the kite even turn a little on the brakelines.

2. I noticed that you attached the bar to a chickenloop (or so) by seting it up on the bar. Is it possible to attach the bar to a chickenloop by using the brakelines? So pulling the bar forwarts means breaking instead of pulling on the brakeline itself.

Yes it does improve steering while using it on a bar. Remember that you will still have most control when you use handles.

You cannot use a chickenloop since the lines that go through the bar are the brake lines. You attach a leash to to the brakelines which again is attached to your harness. So when you unhook the bar and let go of it then the kite will be flown on the brakelines and the kite will come down, this is your safety and you can compare it with kitekillers.

Make a normal knot in the main line and then attach the pulley line with a larks head.

Hi Superrob,

great - I know this setup, and my workmate Jan Hendrik did a similar setup.

Realy a nice one, that also can be extended by some adjusting possibilitys.

Best Regards

Works surprisingly well, only downside is that the pulleys are quite pricey.
